The Virginia Earth Science Collaborative is a partnership of 7 institutes of higher education, 2 non-profits and 83 school divisions focused on providing high quality earth science programs for Virginia ’s teachers and students.

• Access Policy to learn about a “Spotlight on Earth Science Conference” held in 2006 and how the resulting recommendations are now informing actions by the Virginia Mathematics & Science Coalition and the Virginia Association of Science Teachers.

• Visit Implementation and Impact to learn about the 8 different courses delivered statewide to 573 teachers and their positive impact on earth science education.
